Austin and Caleb Wallace were born on 10.23.2007 weighing in at a mighty 1.5 lbs (1 lb, 8 oz.) each. They are in the NICU at St. David's Hospital. We can't tell you how amazing it is that we have such a support group surrounding us during this time of need. It continues to baffle us and humble us that God's people would sacrifice in time, prayer, finances, and energy to meet our needs. There are many things that are imperfect about The Bride of Christ, but it's during something like this that the Church looks unmistakably like Jesus; unmistakably marks His reality. James, brother of Jesus, said that without works our faith is useless and perhaps even a mirage. Well Church, your works of love and service are proving the power of your faith, and the power of Our God. We continue to say, "Yes, Jesus" whatever the circumstances. If God chooses perfect health and well-being, we say, "Yes, Jesus". If God chooses to allow disability, we say, "Yes, Jesus". If God chooses to take Austin and Caleb to be with him, we say, "Yes, Jesus". His character does not change, no matter the circumstances. As you pray for Austin and Caleb, pray first thanking Him for the unchangeable goodness and mercy of our God...
